DaRmaZat Publisher SOEDESCO and solo developer Saikat Deb Creations have announced that The 9th Charnel will launch on January 30, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It will be available both digitally and at retail.
The new trailer released today offers a deeper look at the game’s unsettling environments, hostile encounters, and narrative centered on a world twisted by cult influence. Players will navigate dangerous spaces as multiple protagonists, each carrying their own past and perspective on the horrors unfolding around them.
The 9th Charnel blends first-person exploration with stealth, resource management, and weapon-based combat. As players investigate the ruins of a once-prosperous community, they will search for supplies, uncover hidden lore, and confront their fears as the reality around them continues to break down. The game aims to deliver a tense survival experience within a psychologically driven story, where every decision can mean the difference between life and death.
