Ubisoft has officially released Anno 117: Pax Romana, the next major installment in the acclaimed city-builder franchise, now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, GeForce Now, and Windows PC via Ubisoft Connect, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Set in 117 AD, the game invites players to step into the role of a Roman governor shaping the future of an empire at its peak.

For the first time in the series, players can choose between two protagonists—Marcus or Marcia—each offering a unique perspective on power, responsibility, and the meaning of peace. Marcus is a reluctant leader thrust into authority, while Marcia defies the patriarchal norms of the Empire as she forges her own path to leadership.
In sandbox mode, governors can establish provinces across Latium or Albion, each with distinct cultures, gods, and beliefs. Whether embracing Celtic traditions or enforcing Roman law, every decision shapes the balance between cultural identity, military conquest, and domestic prosperity.
The launch also introduces a full Year 1 Pass packed with post-release content.
The first expansion, Prophecies of Ash, adds a massive volcanic island filled with new resources and divine challenges. The Hippodrome DLC brings the grandeur of Roman entertainment to life with chariot races and monumental architecture, while Dawn of the Delta transports players to a vast desert province inspired by the Nile’s fertile lands.
Coinciding with the release, the official soundtrack by Dynamedion is now available across all major music streaming platforms and YouTube, featuring orchestral performances and authentic ancient instruments that immerse players in the atmosphere of the Roman Empire.
