Dark Fantasy ARPG The Relic: First Guardian Launches in Early 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC

Publisher Perp Games and developer Project Cloud Games have announced that The Relic: First Guardian, a dark fantasy action RPG with Soulslike elements, will launch in early 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The game draws heavily from Korean folktales and legends, blending mythological storytelling with challenging combat. Set in the continent of Arsiltus, every narrative thread is tied into the world itself, creating a backdrop where ancient tales emerge even in the heat of battle.

Players will face 70 towering bosses known as Brutals, each tied to their own story of sorrow and tragedy. Overcoming these encounters requires mastering a flexible combat system built around unique weapons, magic, and stamina-based defense. Defeating a Brutal not only adds their tale to the Last Guardian’s journey but also grants powerful relics, abilities, and upgrades necessary for survival.
