People Can Fly has released Lost Rift, a cooperative first-person survival adventure shooter, into Early Access on PC via Steam. The game is available today, September 25, 2025, for $24.99/€23.99/£19.99, with a 20 percent launch discount running until October 5.

Designed for up to five players or solo adventurers, Lost Rift combines extensive base-building, PvE challenges, and high-stakes PvPvE extraction expeditions. Players begin their journey stranded on a mysterious island archipelago, where they must craft gear, construct shelters, and explore diverse biomes in pursuit of survival and progression.
The Early Access version includes over 100 quests offering 20 to 30 hours of guided gameplay, alongside limitless opportunities for exploration and resource gathering. A modular building system allows for shelters to be established nearly anywhere, while survival-crafting mechanics range from simple weaponry and wooden armor to advanced firearms and metal gear. Comfort buffs reward players for creating cozy camps, adding depth to the survival loop.
Creative director Laurent Malville described Lost Rift as a survival experience tailored for both cooperative and competitive playstyles. “Whether you like crafting your perfect home or taking on other players in a PvPvE expedition, we think Lost Rift is delivering a game loop that brings something new and fun to the survival game space. Plus, this is just the start. We look forward to expanding on the game’s foundation alongside feedback from our community throughout the Early Access period.”
