DaRmaZat Wired Productions and Camel 101 have released a free demo for Beneath on Steam ahead of its appearance during Steam Next Fest. The Lovecraft-inspired survival FPS, built by two brothers, is set to launch this fall for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Beneath promises an unforgiving experience with limited ammo, brutal enemies, and an atmosphere of constant dread. The story follows diver Noah Quinn as he explores the depths of the Atlantic in search of a missing research team, all while grappling with dwindling supplies and his own fragile sanity.
The demo places players in the Ivanov Research Station, where every bullet, breath, and decision matters. Choices influence not only Noah’s survival but also the fate of his daughter. To complement the reveal, a new trailer has been released featuring the custom Black Razor Records track “No Way Out” by Street Grease.
