Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room have unveiled a fresh look at the Banu Haqim in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, introducing the Clan of the Hunt through a new trailer. The footage offers a glimpse at the characters roaming Seattle and showcases Phyre’s deadly judgment in action. The game is set to release on October 21 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.

Banu Haqim vampires bring their own unique flavor of combat and subterfuge, beginning with affinities for Celerity, Blood Sorcery, and Obfuscate. Their passive ability, Silence of Death, allows them to move and act without a sound after feeding, amplifying their potential for stealthy approaches. As players progress, the clan unlocks increasingly powerful Disciplines such as Bladed Hand, a lethal slash capable of decapitating weaker foes; Split Second, which bends time to a crawl; Mute, which silences targets; and Unseen Aura, granting temporary invisibility. Their clan perk provides the additional advantage of sprinting while crouched, enabling swift but silent maneuvers across Seattle’s streets.
In Bloodlines 2, players step into the role of Phyre, an elder vampire enduring nine tense nights within the World of Darkness. Seattle’s fragile balance of power is in constant flux, and choices made in faction politics, alliances, betrayals, and moral dilemmas will determine the city’s future. With its focus on immersive storytelling, strategic use of Disciplines, and the constant threat of breaking the Masquerade, the game aims to deliver a new chapter worthy of its cult-classic predecessor.
