Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Competition Trailer Highlights Game Modes and PAC-MAN Crossover
DaRmaZat Sega has released a new trailer for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, coming September 25, 2025, to PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The Competition Trailer showcases the game’s different modes and confirms a crossover with PAC-MAN.
The new trailer dives into the variety of ways players can race. From traditional Grand Prix cups and online World Match rankings to custom lobbies and party-style Race Park formats, the game emphasizes both competitive and social play. Time Trials also return, letting racers chase the top of the global leaderboards, while Custom Match allows for complete rule control in both split-screen and online play.
Alongside the overview of modes, Sega confirmed that PAC-MAN and Team Ghost will appear as guest racers. The themed PAC-MAN Pack adds a new track called PAC-Village, the PAC-Mobile vehicle, and a selection of sounds, emotes, and decals inspired by the iconic arcade series.
Players who pre-order will unlock the Werehog from Sonic Unleashed as a racer with his own vehicle and decal. A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be offered, including early access, a Season Pass with six content packs, and the Sonic Prime Character Pack featuring Rusty Rose, Tails Nine, and Knuckles Dread.
