Deer & Boy Launching in 2026 – A Poetic Cinematic Platformer About Friendship and Growth
DaRmaZat Publisher Dear Villagers and developer Lifeline Game Studio have announced that cinematic platformer Deer & Boy will release in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
First revealed during Summer Game Fest 2024, Deer & Boy tells the heartfelt story of a boy who flees from home and encounters a frightened fawn. As the two journey together through a dreamlike world, their bond grows into an unlikely yet profound friendship. Over time, the fawn matures into a powerful deer, becoming the boy’s ally as he confronts life’s obstacles and begins to grow himself.
