DaRmaZat Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch Productions have announced that Ghost of Yōtei will receive the free downloadable content Legends in 2026, alongside the debut of a brand-new trailer titled Song of Vengeance. The game itself is set to release for PlayStation 5 on October 2.
Legends will mark the return of cooperative multiplayer, reimagined in a fantastical, supernatural setting that contrasts the grounded world of the main story. Players can take on two-player narrative missions or join four-player survival matches, choosing from four distinct character classes. This time, battles will pit them against towering demonic versions of the Yōtei Six, as well as newly introduced supernatural enemies.
As with Ghost of Tsushima Legends, the upcoming Ghost of Yōtei Legends expansion will be available at no additional cost to all owners of the base game.
