Jyamma Games, the studio behind Enotria: The Last Song, has announced La Divina Commedia, a new action RPG with dark fantasy elements and hack-and-slash gameplay features. The game will launch for PC via Steam, with additional platforms to be confirmed. A release date has not yet been announced.

Inspired by Dante Alighieri’s monumental literary masterpiece, La Divina Commedia reimagines its legendary imagery through Jyamma Games’ signature style. Set in a universe where The Divine Comedy has supplanted the old faith and ushered in a golden age of righteousness, the story follows the collapse of order when dark forces subvert the poem’s promises. Players take on the role of a warrior-poet trapped in the infernal depths, descending through the circles of Hell to face powerful demons and confront a sinful past.
The game features unique gameplay mechanics for each weapon class, procedurally generated extraction dungeons, a narrative-driven alignment system tied to the Seven Deadly Sins, and deep customization options for weapons and armor—both in statistics and aesthetics. These mechanics are designed to deliver a strategic and varied experience with many additional features yet to be revealed.
Narrative plays a central role, enriched by direct references to Dante’s verses. Players can choose between a male or female protagonist, shaping their journey according to preferred playstyle and narrative approach. The game also boasts high-fidelity visuals and animations created using an advanced motion capture system, developed in collaboration with an international studio known for acclaimed productions such as Phantom Blade Zero.
