Nacon and ACE Team have announced that their upcoming co-op psychological horror adventure The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu will no longer release this year, with its launch now scheduled for 2026. The developers explained that the delay will allow the team to meet the project’s ambitious goals and ensure the game delivers on its unique vision.

In The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, up to four players form an expeditionary crew venturing deep into a cursed jungle. Each mission begins aboard a galleon, where explorers prepare with weapons and supplies before heading into hostile territory. As the jungle closes in, monstrous entities warp perception and reality itself, testing trust, cooperation, and sanity. Inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, the experience blends action, exploration, and survival horror as players search for treasure while struggling to distinguish hallucination from truth.
With environments that shift unpredictably and threats that strike both physically and psychologically, survival depends on teamwork, careful choices, and the will to endure madness long enough to return alive.
The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
