DaRmaZat Bandai Namco and developer NOW PRODUCTION have announced PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC, a full remake of the classic 3D platformer originally released in 2002. The updated version is coming to PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, Nintendo Switch & Switch 2, and PC via Steam. It will launch on September 25 in Japan, followed by a global release on September 26.
PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC gives the original game a modern overhaul, complete with upgraded visuals, fully rebuilt environments, and quality-of-life improvements. Players will once again journey across PAC-LAND to recover the stolen Golden Fruit, stop the return of the ghost king Spooky, and restore peace to Pac-Village.
This updated edition introduces voice acting, reimagined boss battles, new movement abilities for PAC-MAN, and a wealth of collectibles and unlockables. Expanded levels, new customization options, and even a two-player mode add further depth to the remake while staying true to the original’s charm.
From lush meadows to icy slopes and underwater action aboard the PAC-Marine, PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC promises to be a nostalgic but fresh return for fans—and a perfect jumping-in point for new players.
