Mafia: The Old Country Showcases New Gameplay Trailer Ahead of August 8 Launch

2K and Hangar 13 have released a nine-minute gameplay video for Mafia: The Old Country, offering an extended look at the “Villa” section from Chapter 5 of the story. This marks the first in-depth glimpse at the standalone title’s mix of narrative-driven tension and period-authentic violence.

Set in early 1900s Sicily, Mafia: The Old Country takes the series back to its criminal roots with a tightly focused story about family, loyalty, and the brutal codes of Cosa Nostra. Players take on the role of Enzo Favara, a young man drawn into Don Torrisi’s rising empire amid the blood-soaked hills and villages of turn-of-the-century Italy.

Launching August 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam—with support for NVIDIA GeForce NOW—the game will be available in two editions. The Standard Edition ($49.99/€49.99) includes the full base game, while the Deluxe Edition ($59.99/€59.99) adds exclusive weapons, outfits, vehicles, cosmetics, a digital artbook, and the original soundtrack. All pre-orders also receive the Soldato Pack, offering additional themed gear and a loyal horse companion.
