CD Projekt RED, in partnership with co-developer Yigsoft, has officially announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Battle.net).

Set to launch on September 29, 2026, the updated release will be available as a free upgrade for existing owners on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. Additionally, CD Projekt RED has made the acclaimed Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions free for all current owners effective immediately.
Developed in tandem with Fool’s Theory, a brand-new expansion titled Songs of the Past was revealed via a teaser trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live, slated for release in 2027. The expansion introduces the rural region of Letten, an idyllic land harboring a long-dormant evil and never-before-seen monster encounters for Geralt of Rivia.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered overhauls the base experience with comprehensive visual and technical upgrades, including enhanced combat, improved traversal, revamped mount handling, expanded monster behaviors, a rebalanced skill tree, transmogrification options, an expanded photo mode, and new finishers. Through a newly announced partnership with Blizzard Entertainment, the game is coming to Battle.net, where players purchasing the new expansion on the platform will receive an exclusive Geralt-inspired skin in Diablo IV.
