Simone Publisher Shochiku Games and developer Crossbridge Game Studios have announced that point-and-click adventure game Moomin: Midsummer Madness will release this fall for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Update – August 21, 2026: Moomin: Midsummer Madness officially launches on November 12, 2026.
Inspired by Tove Jansson’s classic Nordic fantasy novel Moominsummer Madness, the hand-painted title lets you control Moomintroll and Little My as they explore a curious floating theater caught in a major flood.
Designed as an accessible experience for all ages, the cozy adventure features light puzzles, interactive mini-games, an integrated hint system, and an original musical soundtrack set against hand-illustrated environments.
Moomin: Midsummer Madness is scheduled to launch this fall for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Physical editions will be available for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch alongside the digital release.
