Publisher 4Divinity and developer Eschatology Entertainment have released the first official gameplay trailer for dark fantasy title Guns of Eschaton, showcasing four minutes of raw, tactical combat from their upcoming occult Western FPS.

Envisioned by the late legendary art director Viktor Antonov (Half-Life 2, Dishonored), Guns of Eschaton blends high-stakes shooter mechanics with punishing Souls-like difficulty across an apocalyptic 19th-century America.
The brand-new footage highlights the game’s deliberate combat pacing, where survival demands precision, quick dashes, timed parries, and resource management over spraying bullets. Rather than relying on standard shooter tropes, combat leverages specialized ammunition, occult abilities, and the Codex – a tactical system that reveals enemy weaknesses via Sequence Points to make every shot count. Featuring deep buildcrafting with customizable firearms, talismans, and synergized active abilities, the unforgiving journey from the West Coast to the East Coast can be tackled entirely solo or in co-op.
Guns of Eschaton is currently set to launch on PC via Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox.
