Publisher Team K1 and developer That’s No Moon have officially announced Crossfire, a narrative-driven, cinematic action-adventure game slated for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. A specific release window has not yet been detailed.

The game follows the harrowing journey of Layla, a gun-for-hire on a reconnaissance contract in the Atlas Mountains that quickly spirals into a lethal crisis she cannot survive alone. To make it out alive, she is forced into a fraught, temporary alliance with Cross – an opposing, highly trained, and lethal operator who is the last person she would naturally trust. Together, the duo must fight not only for survival against an looming existential threat but also to maintain their own humanity.
Crossfire‘s gameplay features high-tension combat where a single bullet can prove fatal, forcing you to master a highly tactical approach. Heavily anchored by a transformative mechanic called Adaptive Cover, combat requires you to survey your surroundings and dynamically maintain cover. Using the terrain as a weapon, you can seamlessly switch between stealth, direct engagement, repositioning, and flanking maneuvers to outthink enemy forces. Additionally, the game utilizes a genre-defining traversal system, letting you navigate the harsh yet beautiful cinematic landscapes of the Atlas Mountains to endure the threats ahead.
