A brand-new gameplay trailer for PSYCHO DEAD debuted during the Midsummer Night’s Scream horror showcase, giving a fresh look at the upcoming third-person survival horror title. Developed and published by MOON CATALYST CO., LTD., the game is officially targeting a release window of Winter 2026 for PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.

The haunting journey follows Elixia, a young girl gifted with supernatural powers, as she attempts to escape a secret sci-fi research facility overrun by grotesque, failed experimental creatures. The updated footage highlights dangerous enemy encounters and previously unseen laboratory levels, while showcasing a new outfit for the protagonist. Production is moving along smoothly, with the core game currently 75% playable as the small indie team focuses on final content creation, animation polishing, and general optimization.
Classic survival horror structure defines the gameplay, requiring careful resource management, environmental puzzle-solving, and backtracking through interconnected areas. Elixia’s psychic toolkit serves as a central mechanic, allowing for telekinetic object manipulation, ranged blasts, defensive barriers, and crushing pressure attacks to survive relentless stalkers.
A public PC demo remains available on Steam.
