FearForge Studios has officially released the first playable demo for Project RAZE: Fall of Terra, giving players an early look at the studio’s fast-paced sci-fi FPS ahead of Steam Next Fest. The demo introduces the game’s distinctive combat hook, where time replaces traditional health mechanics, turning every mistake into a race against the clock.

In Project RAZE, you step into the role of RZ-01, an immortal combat android connected to the station AI ARDEN. As long as that link remains active, death is impossible – but taking damage drains mission time instead, directly impacting performance and leaderboard rankings. The current demo includes three playable missions, multiple Heat difficulty levels, unlockable upgrades, weapons, and online leaderboards, with a fourth mission planned during Steam Next Fest.
Originally announced earlier this year, Project RAZE: Fall of Terra marks FearForge Studios’ shift toward a more action-focused project while narrative horror title Gravewatch continues development in parallel. Set in a distant future under siege, the FPS combines high-speed movement, replayable missions, progression systems, and customizable loadouts as players battle the invading Auralith Armada across large-scale sci-fi environments.
With the demo now live, players can finally get hands-on with the project’s score-driven combat loop and get a first glimpse at the world, mechanics, and pacing FearForge Studios is building toward for its planned 2026 release.
