Developer Clockwork Acorn has revealed Feather’s Edge, a kinetic Metroidvania coming to PC via Steam, set inside a collapsing world where fractured timelines are beginning to unravel. Built around momentum-driven movement and precision-based combat, the experience unfolds across deteriorating environments shaped by the instability of time itself.

Feather’s Edge follows Upu, a Hoopoe warrior ascending the collapsing Tower of Time. This vertical world is a patchwork of unstable biomes, where ancient jungles and frozen wastes are stitched together by temporal rifts. Combat is built for speed, favoring short, reactive bursts that reward precision over endurance.
The tower serves as both a playground and a training ground. Scattered rifts offer repeatable micro-challenges, allowing you to sharpen your skills and master the game’s momentum-based mechanics while climbing. It is a system designed for iterative improvement, where survival depends on adapting to the shifting architecture.
As you push toward the fractured summit, the disintegrating environment continuously reshapes the path forward. This creates a journey where progression is as much about mastering the volatile flow of time as it is about reaching the top.
