Indie title Welcome to Elderfield is set to appear during the upcoming Wishlisted Indie Game Showcase on April 24, where it will be featured among more than 100 indie projects.
Developed for PC by Chris Cote and published by Kwalee, Welcome to Elderfield blends familiar life-sim systems with a distinctly eerie tone, placing players in a secluded town where routine and unease coexist.
Set in a strange, isolated community, the game combines farming, fishing, crafting, and social systems with darker elements such as occult rituals, shifting environments, and an underlying mystery tied to the town and its inhabitants. Players are free to explore at their own pace—building relationships, managing a farm, and investigating increasingly unsettling events, from cryptic broadcasts to unexplained phenomena lurking beyond the surface.
Those interested can still try the experience firsthand, as a playable demo remains available on Steam, offering an early slice of the town, its systems, and its tone ahead of full release.
