The next chapter in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, will launch worldwide on July 9, 2026. The game will be available on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC (Steam, Ubisoft Connect).
Led by Ubisoft Singapore, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a faithful remake of the original Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, first released in 2013. Built from the ground up on the latest Anvil engine—the same technology powering Assassin’s Creed Shadows—the game features overhauled graphics and enriched gameplay. Players can expect refined stealth and parkour mechanics, deeper naval systems, and expanded narrative arcs.
Set during the Golden Age of Piracy, Black Flag Resynced invites players to sail the Caribbean as Edward Kenway, a rebellious pirate captain swept into the ancient conflict between Assassins and Templars. In his pursuit of fame and fortune, Edward crosses paths with legendary figures like Blackbeard, Anne Bonny, and Calico Jack, all while the fate of the pirate republic hangs in the balance.
