Clockwork Ambrosia launches on May 12, 2026 for PC via Steam, marking the long-awaited debut of the weapon-driven metroidvania after 14 years of development. A playable demo is also still available.

Set in the steampunk world of Aspida, Clockwork Ambrosia follows Iris, an airship engineer stranded after a crash on a seemingly abandoned island. As exploration unfolds, the setting reveals a landscape overtaken by hostile machines and strange creatures, with the disappearance of its original inhabitants forming the core mystery.
Combat and progression are built around a modular weapon system, allowing extensive customization through a wide range of upgrades. From wide-area projectile spreads to precise long-range attacks, each configuration shifts how encounters play out. This system integrates with a broader metroidvania structure, where traversal, discovery, and backtracking across interconnected biomes—such as sky cities and overgrown ruins—shape the overall pace.
Developed by Realmsoft in partnership with OI Games, the project combines traditional side-scrolling exploration with a strong emphasis on experimentation, supported by hand-drawn visuals and a crafting system that gradually expands Iris’s capabilities throughout the journey.
