Action roguelike survival game Dark Light: Survivor now launches in Early Access on May 15, 2026 for PC via Steam. Originally planned for an April release, the development team at Mirari&Co. has pushed the launch back to allow for additional refinement and polishing. The delay is aimed at improving overall gameplay balance, addressing technical issues, and ensuring a stronger first impression when the game becomes available in Early Access.

Set in a collapsing multiverse consumed by the Dark Void, Dark Light: Survivor follows a Dark Hunter navigating fragmented worlds in search of Elysium, humanity’s last sanctuary. Travel between these unstable dimensions is made possible through the Phantom Train, a piece of advanced technology that requires constant energy to continue its journey, forcing players into dangerous encounters with increasingly hostile creatures.
The Early Access version is expected to include expanded content compared to earlier builds, such as new biomes, additional enemy types, and deeper progression systems. Combat blends roguelike survival mechanics with shifting perspectives, while offering a range of weapons, abilities, and character builds to experiment with across each run.
The extra development time will also be used to further refine these systems, ensuring a more balanced and polished experience at launch. The team has confirmed that updates will continue to be shared leading up to release, alongside additional reveals such as the recently showcased Heroes trailer.
