Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era launches in Early Access on April 30 for PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.

Published by Hooded Horse and developed by Unfrozen, this new entry in the long-running series introduces players to the previously unexplored continent of Jadame in the world of Enroth. The game builds on the franchise’s core pillars with a mix of strategic map exploration, city management, and large-scale tactical battles featuring heroes and mythical creatures.
At the start of Early Access, you will be able to choose from six distinct factions, each offering its own units, abilities, and playstyle. The initial version includes the opening act of the campaign, alongside standalone scenarios and multiple gameplay modes that support both solo and multiplayer experiences. Competitive features such as matchmaking, ranked play, and leaderboards are also available across different modes.
The experience focuses heavily on replayability, giving you a robust random map generator for endless encounters and a map editor to create and share your own scenarios. You can even jump into local multiplayer via classic hotseat mode. As you navigate a living fantasy world, your strategic choices lead directly into turn-based hexagonal battles where you’ll face threats like the Hive—a demonic insectoid faction—using new active abilities for both your heroes and units.
Additional content, including further campaign acts and scenarios, is planned throughout the Early Access period as development continues toward the full release.
