Good Children Say Grace, an Absurdist Psychological Horror Game, Shows New Trailer Ahead of Playable Demo

A new official trailer for Good Children Say Grace highlights the psychological horror game set on a remote Eastern European island in the 1980s. The playable demo for the game will launch on April 2, 2026, offering a first look at its branching narrative, hybrid 2.5D/3D exploration, and darkly humorous storytelling. The dark absurdist game is set to launch via Steam Early Access in an episodic format.

Developed by Denis Morozov and written by Milha Vek, the project is guided by mentorship from veterans of the Metro series and features voice performances by Seiyuu Kaori Shimizu (Serial Experiments Lain), vocalist Nami Nakagawa (Demon Slayer, NieR), and VO director Norihiko Hibino (Metal Gear Solid).

Blending manga-inspired visual storytelling with first-person exploration, cinematic sequences, dark romance, and absurdist humor, the experience utilizes player choices to influence character roles, story paths, and endings.

The official trailer is now live, showcasing gameplay, narrative branches, and atmospheric visuals. The demo launching April 2 will allow players to experience the story firsthand and explore the island’s mysterious inhabitants and secrets.
