The dark fantasy ARPG Darkhaven from developer Moon Beast Productions is approaching a key milestone, with its Kickstarter campaign entering its final 60 hours while aiming for a $500,000 funding goal. The game is currently planned for PC via Steam, where a playable demo is already available.

Developed by industry veterans including former Diablo creators, Darkhaven is set in a collapsing world where ancient civilizations have fallen and supernatural forces are consuming what remains. Players take on the role of powerful heirs tasked with reclaiming a dying land as eldritch threats continue to spread across the world.
A major focus of the game is its fully dynamic and persistent sandbox world. Environments are entirely deformable and buildable, allowing players to reshape terrain, tunnel through environments, redirect natural elements, and rebuild structures. These systems extend to a shared world state where actions leave lasting consequences, supported by changing seasons, weather systems, and large-scale events.
The currently available Steam demo offers a more unfiltered look at the project rather than a polished vertical slice. Players can explore a procedurally generated world and experiment with the Witch class up to level 8, using skill trees focused on mobility, positioning, and resource management.
As the campaign nears its end, new Kickstarter rewards have been introduced, including options for backers to help design in-game legendary items. With strong visibility during Steam Next Fest, where the demo ranked among the top 20 most-played titles, the project is now relying on its final push to secure funding.
