The upcoming horror action RPG Withering Realms will receive its first public demo as part of Steam Next Fest, running from February 23 through March 2. This marks the first opportunity for players to experience the game hands-on ahead of its planned Early Access launch via Steam in May 2026.

Feedback gathered during the demo period will directly inform development, with players able to report bugs and submit feedback through the in-game menu. Developer Moonless Formless has confirmed that this input will help shape the game’s Early Access launch planned for May.
The demo covers the opening hours of the game, introducing players to Beynon House, an introductory dungeon designed to establish the game’s tone and core mechanics. From there, players venture into the Saintswood, the first open field area, where exploration begins to open up. Along the way, players can uncover hidden secrets, acquire early weapons and talismans, and begin filling out the bestiary by defeating the demo’s first two bosses.
Set in an alternate 1926 shaped by a catastrophic occult event, Withering Realms follows Clover, a young girl who awakens as a ghost in a decaying mansion near the epicenter of the disaster. Accompanied by a powerful and unsettling doll guardian, players explore the haunted town of Penwyll and its surrounding graveyards, tombs, and ruins, blending methodical combat, exploration, and horror-driven worldbuilding.
