KOEI TECMO America and developer Team NINJA have released a brand-new demo for their upcoming dark samurai action RPG Nioh 3, now available on PlayStation 5 (US, NL-BE) and PC via Steam. Ahead of the game’s full launch on February 6, 2026, the demo allows players to experience the early stages of the game and earn an exclusive in-game reward.
In the demo, players can create a custom character and step into the chaos of Japan’s Warring States period, taking on missions either solo or in online multiplayer for up to three players. The demo also features a challenging boss encounter against Jakotsu-baba, offering a taste of the intense combat and supernatural threats that define the series. Save data from the demo can be carried over to the full game at launch.
Players who complete the demo by February 15, 2026, will receive the Twin-Snake Helmet as an in-game bonus item, usable in the full version of Nioh 3. Additional details about the demo can be found on the official website. Cross-play is not supported for online multiplayer, and players who already unlocked the bonus item during the earlier PlayStation 5 Alpha Demo will not be able to obtain it again.
Nioh 3 is currently available for physical and digital pre-order. Players can opt for the Digital Deluxe Edition or purchase the Season Pass separately, while a SteelBook Launch Edition is also available and includes the base game along with two exclusive bonus DLCs. A special PlayStation 5 physical edition, the Nioh 3 Treasure Box, is available exclusively through the NIS America Store and includes collectible items such as an artbook, soundtrack CD, desk pad, and a Scampuss keychain.
The game launches on February 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5 (US, NL-BE) and PC via Steam, with Japanese and English voice options and text support in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
