Life Is Strange: Reunion Launches March 26 for Consoles and PC

Narrative-driven adventure game Life is Strange: Reunion has been officially announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, with a release date set for March 26. The new entry is being developed by Deck Nine Games and published by Square Enix, continuing the long-running Life is Strange series with a renewed focus on choice, consequence, and emotional storytelling.

Life is Strange Reunion

The story reunites Max Caulfield and Chloe Price as they confront unresolved trauma, fractured memories, and an impending disaster at Caledon University. Haunted by visions of loss and regret, Max once again turns to her Rewind ability to manipulate time, buying herself precious moments as a catastrophic inferno threatens to engulf the campus within days. However, altering fate proves more complex than before, forcing both characters to make difficult decisions that will shape their futures and determine who survives the coming disaster.

Gameplay once again centers on player-driven narrative choices, environmental manipulation, and puzzle-solving built around Max’s time-bending powers. Players alternate between Max and Chloe, with Chloe bringing her own confrontational approach to dialogue and investigation. Conversations, relationships, and key story beats can be reshaped by rewinding moments, uncovering hidden truths, and navigating emotionally charged scenarios where no outcome is without consequence.

Pre-orders are now available across multiple editions. The Standard Edition includes the full game and a cosmetic bonus featuring classic outfits for Max and Chloe. The Deluxe Edition adds a digital mini soundtrack, art book, comic, and a behind-the-scenes documentary featuring the lead actors. A Twin Pack is also available, bundling Life is Strange: Reunion with Life is Strange: Double Exposure. All editions include the same pre-order cosmetic bonus.

With its dual-protagonist structure, returning mechanics, and an original soundtrack blending licensed tracks with a new score, Life is Strange: Reunion positions itself as a pivotal chapter in the series, building toward an emotionally driven climax shaped entirely by player choice.
