Update – January 21, 2026: SEGA and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku have announced that the demo for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties will be available on PC via Steam starting January 21 at 7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET, followed by PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2 on January 21 at 9:00 p.m. PT / January 22 at 12:00 a.m. ET.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties brings together a fully rebuilt version of Yakuza 3 and a brand-new standalone experience titled Dark Ties. The remake revisits Kazuma Kiryu’s Okinawa arc with significantly upgraded visuals and refined combat, modernizing the original while staying faithful to its narrative core.
Dark Ties shifts the spotlight to Yoshitaka Mine, offering a new perspective on his fall into the criminal underworld. This separate storyline introduces boxing-influenced combat mechanics and fresh side content that expands on the series’ signature brawler-style action, adding more depth to the overall package ahead of its February release.
