Developer and publisher Paradark Studio has released a new gameplay overview trailer for the first-person action-adventure game ExeKiller. The footage highlights combat, player-driven mechanics, and the game’s distinctive retro-futuristic western atmosphere. Utilizing Unreal Engine 5, the game will arrive on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, though a release date has not yet been announced.

Set in a dystopian alternate timeline where a global catastrophe has turned Earth into a vast, scorched desert, you take on the role of Denzel Fenix, a bounty hunter known as the ExeKiller who operates under the powerful Helion Corporation. As the story progresses, Denzel uncovers hidden truths about his identity, putting him at odds with multiple factions and forcing players to navigate an ever more dangerous world.
Premiered during the New Game Plus Showcase, the trailer offers an extended look at ExeKiller in action, highlighting first-person gunplay, environmental traversal, and narrative moments. It underscores the game’s philosophy of freedom and choice, presenting a variety of gameplay scenarios that reinforce its focus on choice-driven storytelling. The footage blends post-apocalyptic sci-fi with classic western influences, establishing the tone and atmosphere of the experience.
ExeKiller‘s gameplay is built around a semi-open structure with a central hub and multiple surrounding locations, connected by long travel routes filled with environmental threats, hostile encounters, and unpredictable conditions. Player choice is a core design pillar, with decisions influencing dialogue, NPC relationships, and the direction of the story. Instead of traditional leveling systems, progression is tied to weapon modifications, technological augments, and equipment upgrades that shape combat style and tactical options.
