Developed by Deadbolt Interactive and published by Perp Games, the speed-running anomaly horror game P0: Byte-Sized Brilliance is set to launch for PC via Steam on January 20, 2026, challenging quick thinking, sharp memory, and fast reactions as part of a surreal corporate “interview” experience where every decision counts.

Set within the strange corporate structure of PARADISE Corp, P0 places the action inside a looping office tower where progression depends on identifying whether each floor contains an anomaly. Each stage offers just ten seconds to judge the environment before committing to a single button press, pushing tension and reflexes to the forefront. Clearing all 30 floors without breaking the rules of the exam is the only way to escape the loop and secure a coveted position at Byte-Sized Brilliance.
The experience blends speed-running pressure with unsettling horror, as anomalies range from absurd visual jokes to deeply disturbing environmental shifts. Randomization ensures no two runs unfold the same way, while strict grading evaluates performance floor by floor. Higher grades reward credits and leaderboard placement, reinforcing competition against a global pool of candidates striving for top scores.
Progression is tied to difficulty tiers that unlock increasingly restrictive exams, encouraging mastery and replayability. Credits earned during runs can be spent on collectibles that reveal lore, internal company memos, or practical clues for identifying tougher anomalies. Customization also plays a role through Buddy, a desk-bound companion that can be outfitted with cosmetic modifications as both comic relief and morale support.
P0: Byte-Sized Brilliance combines humor, horror, and high-speed decision-making into a compact but demanding format, turning the monotony of office life into a relentless test of perception where hesitation can end a run in seconds.
