Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team NINJA have announced that a demo for dark samurai action RPG sequel Nioh 3, set to arrive on February 6, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, will be released on January 29, 2026.
Ahead of their journey through time to save Japan, players will be able to sharpen their skills in the upcoming demo, which supports solo play as well as online multiplayer for up to three players. Save data from the demo can be carried over to the full game, allowing players to continue their progress toward becoming Shogun. Additional details about the demo will be shared at a later date.
Alongside the demo announcement, Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA revealed new exclusive bonuses tied to the early purchase offer. Players who qualify for the early purchase bonus will receive two armor sets inspired by protagonists from previous entries in the series: the “Youngblood Armor (Samurai)”, worn by William in Nioh, and the “Lone Wolf’s Armor (Ninja)”, worn by Hiddy in Nioh 2. These items can be obtained in-game by redeeming the early purchase bonus “Hellfrost Armor Set”.
Nioh 3 is now available for physical and digital pre-order. Players can digitally pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition or purchase the Season Pass separately. A SteelBook edition is also available for pre-order and includes the base game along with two exclusive bonus downloadable content items. All versions include the early purchase bonus, redeemable via the PlayStation Store and Steam for a limited time after launch.
In addition, a limited-time discount is currently available on the Steam version of Nioh: Complete Edition, offering a 90 percent price reduction for players looking to experience the original title.
