DaRmaZat 3D action adventure game ZOOPUNK, developed by TiGames and set in the universe of F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch, is officially coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. A release date has not yet been announced.
Taking place decades before the events of its predecessor, the game explores the early days of Torch City during the rise of the First Torch War. The discovery of fire seed energy accelerates technological growth but also triggers catastrophic conflict as mechanical debris awakens into autonomous war machines. These constructs, once created to harness power, turn their violence against their creators and form a mechanical empire bent on domination. Rival animal factions must reluctantly unite to resist this overwhelming threat.
At the core of the narrative lies a philosophical clash: animals perceive the soul as essential and innate, while their mechanical foes believe it can be replicated or acquired. This thematic divide shapes not only the conflict, but the society, culture, and motivations of each side. The world itself is governed by a vast planetary network, with the fire seed serving as the channel for its transformative force. Regions have fractured into distinct territories, each moulded by unique geography, ideology, and the chaos of war.
Players will traverse diverse, shattered landscapes such as roving mechanical encampments, volcanic industrial fortresses, rare untouched sanctuaries, and a collapsing citadel where military order erodes into rebellion. Combat builds on the series’ signature intensity, with each playable character delivering a distinct fighting style rooted in their animal abilities. Rayton the Rabbit excels in agile close-range assaults, Braton the Rhino embodies heavy-hitting power with a massive flame sword, and Trixie the Chipmunk relies on fast, acrobatic precision to strike and evade. The reveal trailer showcases the trio joining forces to infiltrate enemy territory and recover the Spark, a vital resource essential to the survival of Torch City.
