Seeker Entertainment has unveiled KinForge, a cooperative creature-collector action RPG currently in early development and planned to launch first for PC via Steam, with potential console versions to follow. The studio, formed by veterans from Blizzard Entertainment, Maxis, Riot Games, and Sony Online Entertainment, positions the project as a blend of creature bonding, action combat, and social design.

In KinForge, players are chosen by Ancient Elementals—powerful beings that embody the forces of nature—to help restore a world collapsing under widespread corruption. These Elementals were once harnessed by humanity to fuel industrial progress, but exploitation drove many of them into chaos, triggering violent storms, dying ecosystems, and expanding destruction. As one of the few capable of forging bonds with these beings, players can cleanse corrupted spirits and wield their abilities in combat.
Each Ancient Elemental offers a unique power, while lesser Sprites can be intertwined with these abilities to modify, amplify, or transform their effects. The result is a system built around experimentation, allowing for billions of possible combinations ranging from homing fire blasts to thunderous chain reactions. The game supports solo play or co-op with up to three other players as teams explore corrupted regions, rescue spirits, and face human Overseers responsible for disrupting the world’s balance.
Between missions, players return to the Preserve—a living hub where they can reincarnate fallen Elementals, craft new ability kits, and build upgrades that shape their future progression. Every campaign begins with a new Overseer whose influence affects enemies, environments, and challenges. Procedurally generated layouts and persistent unlocks aim to make each run distinct while weaving together handcrafted moments and long-term growth.
Designed as a standalone experience with no live-service requirements, KinForge plans to deliver more than 100 hours of combined handcrafted and procedural content built around cooperation, mastery, and restoration.
