DaRmaZat THQ Nordic has confirmed its Steam Next Fest lineup, with Reanimal set to receive a playable demo starting Monday, October 13.
The preview will let players step into the unsettling opening chapter, where orphaned siblings are reunited and forced to survive together while searching for missing friends. From eerie environments such as the Mill and Trainyard to encounters with grotesque figures like the captor known as Sniffer, the demo offers an early taste of the dangers awaiting in the fog.
Developed by Tarsier Studios, the team behind Little Nightmares and its sequel, Reanimal is a cooperative horror adventure designed for both solo play and two-player co-op. The story follows a brother and sister navigating a nightmarish island filled with disturbing creatures and surreal, hand-crafted environments. Drawing on themes of childhood fears and fractured memories, the game blends puzzle-solving and exploration with atmospheric tension.
Reanimal is scheduled to launch in early 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
