DaRmaZat Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Insomniac Games will release the superhero action game Marvel’s Wolverine for PlayStation 5 in fall 2026.
A brand-new trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine has been released, showcasing Logan’s violent combat style, his dark past, and some of the allies and enemies he will encounter. Alongside the trailer, Insomniac also revealed the game’s official cover art, designed in collaboration with comic artist Jock, and confirmed the addition of descriptive audio options for accessibility.
In this original story, actor Liam McIntyre brings Wolverine to life as he struggles with haunting memories while fighting his way through relentless enemies. Combat emphasizes razor-sharp adamantium claws, berserker rage, and fast, fluid attacks that allow Logan to dismember or break foes in visceral fashion.
The global narrative takes Wolverine across diverse settings such as Madripoor, the wilderness of Canada, and the streets of Tokyo. Familiar Marvel characters will appear throughout the journey, including Mystique, Omega Red, and the Reavers, with a final teaser hinting at the arrival of a towering purple sentinel.
Built from the ground up for PlayStation 5, the game aims to capture the essence of Logan as a reluctant hero, delivering brutal action, cinematic set pieces, and a darker spin on Insomniac’s superhero storytelling.
