DaRmaZat Ubisoft and Unfrozen have unveiled a first look at Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era’s long-requested Spectator Mode, marking a premiere for the franchise. The new trailer showcases how players can now join matches as observers, watching armies expand across the map and clashes unfold turn by turn. It’s a feature fans have been asking for over the years, and it promises to reshape both competitive tournaments and casual sessions among friends.
Olden Era takes place in the iconic world of Enroth and combines the series’ classic turn-based strategy with modern refinements. Early Access on Steam is planned for late 2025, offering a substantial campaign, multiple game modes, and six unique factions. From hex-based tactical combat to kingdom management and exploration, the game aims to deliver both nostalgia and fresh strategic depth.
With Spectator Mode now confirmed and a host of content planned for Early Access, Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era is shaping up to be a revival of the series with new energy and ambition.
