Ghost of Yōtei Unveils “One Thousand Blades” Trailer Ahead of October Release
DaRmaZat Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch Productions have unveiled a brand-new trailer for Ghost of Yōtei, titled “One Thousand Blades.” The standalone action-adventure game is set to launch for PlayStation 5 on October 2.
Set 300 years after Ghost of Tsushima, the story follows Atsu, a haunted mercenary driven by revenge after the loss of her family. Her journey across northern Japan’s rugged Ezo region leads her to confront a ruthless gang of six outlaws while forming unexpected alliances and uncovering a path toward redemption.
The trailer highlights Atsu’s mastery of the katana, bow, and grappling hook, brought to life with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers on the DualSense controller. Players can expect fast load times, stunning visuals, and immersive 3D audio that transport them into the atmospheric landscapes of 1600s Japan.
