DaRmaZat Otherskin, the new third-person action adventure from developer Game Atelier and publisher FDG Entertainment, will launch exclusively for PC via Steam on September 2, 2025. The game combines elements of exploration and combat reminiscent of Metroid and Tomb Raider, offering a single-player experience filled with action, atmospheric environments, and unexpected discoveries.
In Otherskin, Players take on the role of Alex, a Space Crusader embarking on what is likely to be her final mission: uncovering the mysteries of planet Vandermire. Believed to be the ancestral home of the extinct Magna species, Vandermire is also the suspected source of a growing threat known as the Corruption, a universal force endangering all life. As the thirteenth volunteer of Mission Exodus, Alex is equipped with a high-tech AI-powered suit designed to prolong survival on the hostile planet and gather vital data before inevitably succumbing to the Corruption.
The journey across Vandermire challenges players to adapt and evolve through the absorption of alien morphs, which grant new movement and combat abilities. These transformative powers allow Alex to reimagine how she traverses the world and fights her enemies. The suit itself can be upgraded to enhance weapons, improve life support systems, and sharpen agility in both ranged firefights and fast-paced melee encounters.
Vandermire offers diverse biomes to explore, blending beauty with danger at every turn.
