Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced Tales of Xillia Remastered, the next entry in the Tales of Remastered Project. The game launches on October 31 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Originally released in 2011 in Japan and 2013 in the West, Tales of Xillia was the first entry in the long-running series to let players choose between two protagonists. The remaster revisits the world of Rieze Maxia, where humans and spirits coexist in fragile harmony.
The story follows Jude Mathis, a young medical student, and Milla Maxwell, the Lord of Spirits, as their fates intertwine after uncovering a dangerous weapon controlled by the Rashugal kingdom. Forced into exile, the pragmatic Jude and the spiritual Milla must overcome their differences to inspire peace between nations on the brink of war.
Tales of Xillia Remastered enhances the original with improved visuals, auto-save, early access to the Grade Shop, and included downloadable content such as costumes and bonus items. The updated edition aims to welcome newcomers to the classic JRPG while also appealing to longtime fans who experienced the title’s original release more than a decade ago.
