Sandbox survival game Honeycomb: The World Beyond will launch on November 6 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, publisher Snail and developer Frozen Way Studio announced.
Update – August 31, 2026: Honeycomb: The World Beyond is officially moving up its launch to September 8.

The game combines survival mechanics with scientific exploration as players step into the role of Hennessy, a pioneering scientist sent to explore the mysterious planet Sota7. Inspired by classic science-fiction themes, the journey emphasizes discovery, experimentation, and adaptation in a world that is both wondrous and dangerous.
Honeycomb: The World Beyond‘s exoplanet offers lush forests, vast jungles, and volcanic landscapes filled with unique flora and fauna. Players are encouraged to study the ecosystem, gather samples, and apply bioengineering techniques to create new life forms that could one day help restore Earth’s fragile environment. Establishing a modular base serves not only as shelter but also as a laboratory for experiments and research.
Alongside the release date, Snail and Frozen Way revealed a technology partnership with NVIDIA, integrating RTXDI, DLSS 4 with Ray Reconstruction, Multi Frame Generation, and Reflex. These enhancements aim to deliver a visually striking and immersive experience. Visitors at Gamescom 2025 in Cologne from August 20 to 24 will be able to try a new demo featuring the NVIDIA technology at the Indie Arena Booth.
