The House of the Dead 2: Remake Limited Physical Edition Launches October 31 on Switch
DaRmaZat Microids, together with Forever Entertainment and developer MegaPixel Studio, will release a limited physical edition of The House of the Dead 2: Remake for Nintendo Switch on October 31. The set includes a copy of the game, a sleeve, and three holographic cards.
The remake first launched digitally on August 7 for Switch and PC via Steam and GOG, with versions for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One to follow at a later date.
A modernized take on Sega’s 1998 arcade rail shooter, The House of the Dead 2: Remake is set in Italy, two years after the first game. Players take on the roles of AMS agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart, who—joined by British agent Amy Crystal—must fight their way through a zombie outbreak while attempting to evacuate civilians. The game offers revamped visuals and audio, co-op play, multiple branching routes, and new endings for fans to discover.
