DaRmaZat Endling: Extinction is Forever developer Herobeat Studios has announced Rewilders: The Lost Spring, an open-world action roguelite with creature collection and Metroidvania-style progression, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. A release date was not announced.
In Rewilders: The Lost Spring, you play as Abi, a lone survivor crossing a poisoned world to find her missing family. Each run sends you into a dynamic open world of corrupted biomes where twisted creatures roam. Traversal upgrades like a glider, grappling hook, and wall-running open new areas to explore as you actively rewild zones, reactivate Springs, and bring life back one biome at a time.
As the land heals, its original fauna—the Hantu—return and join your fight. These companions expand your abilities and can be fed and leveled to shape a team that suits your playstyle, blending melee, ranged, and Hantu skills in fast-paced third-person combat. Between excursions, a skyship base lets you grow plants from collected seeds to unlock permanent buffs, evolve companions, and prepare for the next descent. Your choices steer a narrative path between Memory and Hatred, determining how this broken world is remembered—or remade.
