Blackmill Games has announced Gallipoli, the fourth installment in its World War I first-person shooter series following Verdun, Tannenberg, and Isonzo. The game is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A release date has not yet been revealed.

Set on the Middle Eastern Front, Gallipoli expands the series’ focus beyond the entrenched warfare of Europe, recreating beach landings, desert battles, and urban clashes in one of the most pivotal campaigns of the Great War. Players will take part in the Gallipoli and Mesopotamia campaigns, fighting as soldiers of either the British or Ottoman forces.
As with previous entries, the emphasis lies on authenticity. Maps, weapons, music, and uniforms are all modeled after historical sources, while gameplay centers on squad-based combat with cross-play across PC and consoles. AI bots will be available to fill out matches, and each class—such as Officers, Light Machine Gunners, or Stretcher Bearers—offers a unique role on the battlefield.
Gallipoli aims to deliver a grounded experience through deliberate weapon handling, suppressive fire, and environmental challenges like heat and dust. With its wider scope, it promises to offer the deepest look yet into the Middle Eastern campaigns of World War I.
