KRAFTON will release Island Getaway, the first downloadable content for its life simulation game inZOI, on August 20. The free update coincides with the opening of gamescom 2025 and will be available worldwide. On the same day, a Mac version of inZOI will debut on the App Store and Steam, optimized for Apple silicon.

The Island Getaway DLC adds Cahaya, a Southeast Asia–inspired map made up of a main island and a resort island. Players can take part in activities like swimming, boating, snorkeling, and customizing their Zois with tropical-themed outfits, hairstyles, and décor.
The update also introduces farming, mining, gem crafting, fishing, and new rideable vehicles including motorcycles and electric scooters. Character interactions are expanded with systems such as random gatherings, thought bubbles, and cooperative actions, designed to encourage emergent storytelling. Over 90 new music tracks are being added, alongside user interface improvements, early gamepad support, and other quality-of-life updates.
KRAFTON will showcase the DLC at gamescom in Cologne from August 20 to 24. A new trailer will premiere during Opening Night Live on August 19, and attendees will have the chance to play the update at the company’s booth. Special events and influencer challenges will run throughout the show.

Ahead of launch, the developer will host inZOI@Cahaya, a livestream airing August 14 at 6:00 p.m. PT on YouTube and Twitch. The broadcast will offer a first look at the DLC with developer commentary and answers to community questions.
The Mac release supports MetalFX Upscaling, hardware-accelerated ray tracing on Apple’s M3 and M4 chips, HDR, and requires an Apple silicon Mac with an M2 or later and at least 16GB of memory.
