SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide Launches November 18 for PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC
DaRmaZat THQ Nordic and developer Purple Lamp Studios have announced SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, a new action-platformer heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The game is set to launch on November 18, priced at $39.99/£34.99/€39.99.
In this undersea adventure filled with chaos and comedy, SpongeBob and Patrick return to save Bikini Bottom from a supernatural crisis. After a clash of egos between the Flying Dutchman and King Neptune unleashes waves of ghostly disruption, the two unlikely heroes must join forces to restore balance across land and sea.
Players will take control of the iconic duo, swapping between them to combine their distinct platforming abilities. Patrick introduces new gameplay mechanics such as grappling and digging, while SpongeBob returns with refined versions of fan-favorite moves like sliding and ghostboarding. Together, they’ll explore legendary locations including Neptune’s Palace, Atlantis City, and the snowy slopes of Mount Bikini, all while confronting massive boss encounters.
The game will be fully voice-acted by the original SpongeBob SquarePants cast, with support for multiple languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Japanese.
