Developer and publisher Playdew has announced that Lost Twins II, their upcoming side-scrolling puzzle adventure, will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox One & Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on August 14.

In Lost Twins II, players guide siblings Abi and Ben through a whimsical, hand-crafted world as they try to find their way home. Set within a serene polygonal landscape, the game blends elegant level design with painterly visuals and a calming original score. At the heart of the journey is a mysterious mythical bird—perhaps a guide, or perhaps something more ambiguous.
Each puzzle is designed to spark curiosity, challenge the mind, and reward experimentation. The experience is gentle and non-violent, with no enemies, timers, or fail states. With no dialogue and a minimalist presentation, the story unfolds through exploration and visual cues alone.
The game aims to appeal to both adults and younger players, with tactile gameplay centered on sliding tiles, pressure switches, water puzzles, and more. Every level introduces new mechanics, ensuring a constant sense of discovery.
