Thunderful Games and Sad Owl Studios have announced that Viewfinder, the award-winning first-person puzzle adventure, will arrive on Xbox Series consoles on August 12, with a Nintendo Switch version to follow later this winter. The game is currently available for PlayStation 4 & 5, and PC via Steam.

Originally released on July 18, 2023, for PS5 and PC, and later on PS4 in December that same year, Viewfinder quickly gained acclaim for its creative mechanics and immersive narrative. The game won multiple accolades, including honors at the BAFTA Games Awards and UKIE Video Game Awards 2024.
In Viewfinder, players reshape reality using photographs, drawings, and even screenshots, placing them into the environment to create new paths and solve puzzles. Set within a layered, mysterious world, the story explores themes of transformation, memory, and loss, allowing players to approach it at their own pace—whether they’re there just to enjoy the puzzles or to dive deeper into the lore.
With the upcoming Xbox and Switch launches, more players will soon get to experience Viewfinder‘s unique blend of gameplay and story on their platform of choice.
